[ curtain-side semi-trailer loading at an industrial estate in Almería ]

A curtain-side fleet based in the province

Doseguer is not a branch office: our head office, our fleet and our traffic desk are all in the Valle del Almanzora industrial estate, in Cuevas del Almanzora. The same structure we have run for more than thirty years in this province is what backs the curtain-side service.

In Almería, curtain-siders cover what refrigerated trailers cannot: palletised goods, oversized cargo and industrial freight that has to go in and out through the side or the roof rather than the rear doors. We work with full truckloads, part loads and groupage, depending on how much space the shipment really takes.

What we carry on curtain-siders out of Almería

The province grows more than fresh produce: around the fields, the natural stone and the supply industry there is a great deal of palletised and bulky freight.

Agricultural and greenhouse materials Oversized

Plastic film, framing, structures and irrigation equipment for the growing areas of the Poniente and Levante.

Packaging materials Pallets

Cardboard, plastic and packing supplies for the packing houses across the province.

Natural stone and construction Heavy loads

Material from the Macael area, precast units and building products, with reinforced lashing and controlled weight distribution.

Industrial and packaged chemical goods Industry

Capital goods, machinery and packaged products that do not require controlled temperature.

Export and import Europe

Departures and arrivals with Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, as full loads or consolidated shipments.

The journey back counts too

Almería ships out far more than it brings in: our trucks head north towards the rest of Spain and Europe every day and, if nobody uses that space, they come back empty. For anyone who needs to bring material into the province —greenhouse plastic, packaging, capital goods— that return leg is the cheapest way to do it.

Having the fleet here is what makes those combinations possible: we know which truck is coming back, when, and how much space it has free, without depending on third parties.

What having our base in the province adds

Short response time when an unexpected load comes up
Use of return legs from northern Spain and Europe
First-hand knowledge of local access roads, bays and industrial estates
Direct contact with the traffic desk, with no middlemen
Full loads, part loads and groupage within the same service

Coverage across the province

We load and unload in the Poniente Almeriense (El Ejido, Roquetas de Mar, Vícar, La Mojonera, Adra), the Campo de Níjar, the industrial estates of the city of Almería, the Macael area and across the Levante and Valle del Almanzora (Vera, Pulpí, Huércal-Overa, Cuevas del Almanzora), where our base is.

Frequently asked questions

Do you load anywhere in the province?

Yes. We cover the whole of Almería, from the Poniente to the Valle del Almanzora, whether at an industrial estate, a warehouse or a building site, as long as there is room to manoeuvre a semi-trailer.

Can you bring material into Almería on a return leg?

That is one of our most common arrangements. Our export routes leave space on the way back, which you can use to bring goods into the province at a better price than booking a full trip.

What is the difference between a curtain-sider and a refrigerated trailer?

Curtain-siders are not temperature controlled: they carry general freight, palletised or oversized, with the advantage that they can be loaded from the side and the roof. If your goods need to stay cold, the right service is refrigerated transport.

Do you take part loads out of Almería?

Yes. We handle full loads, part loads and groupage. For smaller volumes, combining your shipment with another one on the same route usually works out considerably cheaper.
