Container platforms based in the province
Our head office, our fleet and our traffic desk are all in the Valle del Almanzora industrial estate, in Cuevas del Almanzora. From there we cover the road leg of the container: from the vessel to your warehouse, or from your warehouse to the terminal, with the empty returned where it belongs.
We work with the ports of Almería and Carboneras and connect the province with the main Mediterranean terminals, so the goods always travel inside the same box from origin to destination, without being handled at each change of mode.
What we carry in containers out of Almería
The province exports fresh produce, stone and supply-industry goods, and imports almost every material its farming depends on. Nearly all of it goes through a container.
Fresh product from the packing houses to the terminal, with the cooling unit running and the temperature set before departure.
Material from the Macael area and industrial products from around Carboneras, with controlled weight distribution and reinforced lashing.
Plastic film, framing, packaging and irrigation equipment arriving by sea and heading up to the growing areas of the Poniente and Levante.
Machinery and packaged goods in standard, high cube, flat rack or open top containers, depending on size and how they are loaded.
Classified goods in containers, with accredited drivers and complete ADR documentation.
The port paperwork is ours too
The most time-consuming part of a container is not the journey: it is the terminal. Booking a slot, gate-in, sealing, weighing, picking up the empty and returning it to the depot. We handle all of that and give you a single delivery date instead of a list of formalities to sort out yourself.
With the fleet and the traffic desk in the province, we can line up the terminal slot with the warehouse slot on the same day, which is what keeps trucks from waiting at the bay and avoids storage charges.
What we take care of
Why work with us in Almería
Head office, fleet and staff in Cuevas del Almanzora, not a sales office.
Extendable and tipping platforms for containers of different sizes and types.
A container that has to leave the terminal today cannot wait for a truck to come down from the north.
If the container needs refrigeration, ADR handling or storage before delivery, we cover it with our own fleet.
Coverage across the province
We deliver and collect containers in the Poniente Almeriense (El Ejido, Roquetas de Mar, Vícar, La Mojonera, Adra), the Campo de Níjar, the industrial estates of the city and the port area, the Macael area, Carboneras and across the Levante and Valle del Almanzora (Vera, Pulpí, Huércal-Overa, Cuevas del Almanzora), where our base is.
Frequently asked questions
Do you handle the formalities at the terminal?
Yes. We carry out everything needed to collect or deliver the container at the port, including picking up the empty and returning it to the depot. All we need from you is the container number, the size and the date.
What container sizes do you handle?
Containers of 20 and 40 feet, high cubes included, on extendable and tipping platforms. For cargo that does not fit inside a closed container we work with flat racks and open tops.
Can you move a reefer container out of Almería?
Yes. We have been refrigerated hauliers for more than thirty years, so temperature-controlled goods are familiar ground: we keep the cold chain from the warehouse to the terminal.
Do you take containers from Almería to other ports?
Yes. As well as the ports of Almería and Carboneras, we move containers to and from the main terminals in the Mediterranean and the rest of Spain. Tell us the origin and destination and we will quote a fixed price.
