The road leg between Cartagena and your warehouse

Our base is in Cuevas del Almanzora, in the Levante area of Almería, half an hour from the Region and just over an hour from the Port of Cartagena. Murcia is daily working ground: we load and unload containers there with the same response times as in our own province.

We cover the leg from the terminal to the end customer and from the end customer to the terminal, with collection and delivery formalities included and the empty returned where it belongs. The goods are never handled: they travel inside the same box from start to finish.

What we carry in containers out of the Region of Murcia

The Region combines a port with food, chemical and plastics industries, and much of that traffic moves in containers:

Canned and processed food Exports

Finished products from the canning industry to the terminal, in standard or high cube containers depending on weight and volume.

Fresh produce in reefers Temperature

Fruit and vegetables from the Campo de Cartagena and the Guadalentín valley, with the cooling unit set before leaving the warehouse.

Plastics, packaging and processed goods Industry

Reels, film, packaging and processed products from the Region's industrial estates to the port.

Packaged chemical products ADR

Classified goods in containers, with accredited drivers and complete ADR documentation.

Oversized cargo Flat rack

Capital goods and pieces that do not fit inside a closed container, on flat racks or open tops.

A corridor we run every day

Almería and Murcia work as a single loading area, and with containers that shows up in two things: what time we can be at the terminal and how well the trip is used. A container picked up in Cartagena and delivered in the Guadalentín valley does not require bringing a truck down from the north.

Running the corridor daily also lets us combine the empty pick-up with a nearby load, instead of charging for two separate trips.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a base in Murcia?

Our head office is in Cuevas del Almanzora, in the Levante area of Almería, just over half an hour from the Region. In practice we work Murcia every day, with the same response times as our own province.

Do you collect containers at the Port of Cartagena?

Yes. We book the slot, handle the gate-in, collect the container and deliver it to your warehouse, then return the empty to the relevant depot. All we need is the container number, the size and the date.

Can you combine a movement in Murcia with one in Almería?

Yes, and it is common: the two provinces form a single corridor. Combining movements lets us adjust routes and offer better terms than if each shipment travelled on its own.

Do you move containers carrying hazardous goods?

Yes. We have ADR-accredited drivers and the protocols and documentation each class of goods requires, both in tanks and as packaged products inside the container.
