A base in the province, for a product that will not wait

Our head office, our fleet and our traffic desk are all in the Valle del Almanzora industrial estate, in Cuevas del Almanzora. That means a collection in Almería does not depend on a vehicle coming down from another province: it sets off from here, with the cooling unit already at the range your product needs.

Pharmaceutical transport allows none of the slack other goods allow. A temperature excursion of a few hours can write off an entire batch, and the only way to prove it did not happen is to hold the full record of the journey. That is why we work under good distribution practice (GDP), with continuous monitoring from the moment of loading.

What we carry in the province

Every product has its range, and the range dictates the vehicle:

Refrigerated medicines 2 ºC to 8 ºC

The most common range and the least forgiving: active unit, pre-cooled vehicle and a probe logging from the moment loading starts.

Controlled room temperature medicines 15 ºC to 25 ºC

Product that must not be over-chilled either. In an Almerían summer, holding the 25 ºC ceiling takes as much equipment as holding the cold.

Frozen product Down to −20 ºC

Shipments calling for the low end of the range, with the vehicle stabilised before it backs up to the bay.

Healthcare and clinical supplies Hospital

Consumables, single-use materials and equipment bound for hospitals, clinics and health centres across the province.

Parapharmacy and supplements Volume

Product with lighter thermal demands but the same need for traceability and on-time delivery.

From Adra to Vélez-Rubio without opening a gap

Almería covers almost 9,000 km² with its population spread across districts that barely touch: the Poniente, the city, the Campo de Níjar, the Almanzora, Los Vélez, the Alpujarra. Distributing pharmaceutical product here is not a question of distance but of stops: every time the doors open there is a thermal risk, and there are many.

We handle it the usual way — planning routes to minimise door openings, stabilising the unit before each stop and logging without interruption — but with one advantage that is not a small one: the truck is already here. The route is designed from the province, not towards it.

Frequently asked questions

What temperature do medicines travel at?

Whatever their product information specifies. The usual ranges are refrigerated, 2 to 8 ºC, and controlled room temperature, 15 to 25 ºC, and our equipment covers everything from −20 ºC up to +25 ºC. Tell us your product's range and we set the vehicle before we come to load.

Can I evidence that the temperature held for the whole journey?

Yes. Monitoring is continuous from loading to delivery, and the documented record of the journey is at your disposal. It is part of good distribution practice and exactly what any audit will ask you for.

Do you deliver across the whole province or only along the coast?

Across the whole province. We work the Poniente, the city, the Campo de Níjar and the Levante, and also inland districts such as Los Vélez and the Alpujarra, which tend to fall outside the routes of operators coming in from elsewhere.

Do you store pharmaceutical product?

Our pharmaceutical service is transport and distribution. We do have our own warehouse in Cuevas del Almanzora, but storing medicines carries requirements of its own: if you need it, tell us about the case and we will tell you plainly what we can take on and what we cannot.
