Pharmaceutical transport in Valencia

The province is on our weekly routes north and into Europe, so your product travels on a vehicle that already passes through, with its temperature range set and logged.

On the route, not a detour

Our routes to Catalonia, northern Spain and Europe cross the province every week. Valencia is therefore regular loading and unloading ground for our temperature-controlled fleet, not a journey that has to be billed separately.

That matters especially with pharmaceutical product, where many shipments are only a few pallets and hiring a dedicated run throws the cost out of balance. Using a vehicle that is already on the road makes small volumes viable without giving up temperature control or traceability, which is precisely what cannot be negotiated with this product.

What we move in the province

Pharmaceutical and healthcare product, at whatever range each shipment calls for:

Refrigerated medicines 2 ºC to 8 ºC

Pre-cooled vehicle, active unit and continuous logging from loading, including when the shipment does not fill the truck.

Controlled room temperature medicines 15 ºC to 25 ºC

Product that must not be over-chilled either, with the unit holding the top of the range through the hot months.

Partial and consolidated loads A few pallets

Small shipments grouped onto a route already scheduled, with the range shared by the whole load verified beforehand.

Healthcare supplies and equipment Import / export

Clinical materials and equipment to or from the Port of Valencia, with the road leg and the terminal slot included.

Distribution from platform Logistics

Departures from the province's logistics platforms towards the south-east and the rest of our national routes.

A vehicle that already passes through

The province being on our weekly run changes two things at once. The first is cost: there is no empty leg to bill just to get there and load. The second, and the more important one in pharmaceuticals, is that the shipment does not have to wait for a full load to come together before it can travel under controlled conditions.

The same run lets us link a load from Valencia with a delivery in the south-east, or the other way round, making use of return legs that would otherwise travel empty. The routing is direct: no transhipment to open up the temperature chain along the way.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take shipments of just a few pallets?

Yes. We handle full, partial and consolidated loads. For small volumes, using a vehicle that already passes through the province usually works out considerably cheaper than hiring a dedicated run, and the product leaves sooner because it does not have to wait for a full load.

If the load is consolidated, how is temperature guaranteed?

We only consolidate product that shares a storage range, and we verify that before scheduling the shipment. The vehicle runs at that single range, with continuous logging for the whole load; if your product does not fit what is already on the route, we tell you and look for another departure.

Do you have your own warehouse in Valencia?

No. Our facilities are in Cuevas del Almanzora, Almería. In Valencia we operate in transit, loading and unloading, taking advantage of the province being on our regular routes north and into Europe.

Do you handle goods from the Port of Valencia?

Yes. We do the road leg for goods to or from the port, arrange the terminal slot and connect the load with our national and international routes. We also work with the port of Sagunto.
