Hazardous goods with a base in the province

Our head office, our fleet and our traffic desk are all in the Valle del Almanzora industrial estate, in Cuevas del Almanzora. The vehicle that loads your hazardous goods leaves from here, and it is prepared by the same team that answers the phone — not by a sales office that subcontracts the trip.

Almería is not a chemical province, but it moves classified goods every day: crop protection products and fertilisers for the greenhouses, reagents for desalination and water treatment plants, packaged gases, paints and solvents from the supply industry. All of it travels under the ADR Agreement, and with it the documentation, marking and load securing each class requires.

What we carry under ADR out of Almería

Packaged and palletised hazardous goods, from the province's farming and supply industry:

Crop protection products and fertilisers Agriculture

Products for the greenhouses of the Poniente and the Levante, packaged and palletised, under the class and packing group stated in the safety data sheet.

Water treatment reagents Corrosives

Hypochlorite, acids and correctors for desalination plants, water treatment works and irrigation heads, with incompatibilities kept apart in the load.

Packaged gases Class 2

Cylinders and bottles for industry, farming and workshops, secured in place and with the vehicle marked according to the gas carried.

Paints, resins and solvents Flammables

Materials from the supply industry and the Macael marble area, in approved packaging and with reinforced securing.

Industrial chemicals Industry

Classified goods from the industrial estates of the city, Carboneras and the Valle del Almanzora, as full loads or combined with other shipments where the rules allow.

What is checked before the truck leaves

An ADR job is decided before loading. With the product's safety data sheet in hand we check the class, the UN number and the packing group, and from there the labelling, the hazard plates, the emergency equipment and how to secure the load without putting incompatible products together.

That check is carried out by the Cuevas del Almanzora team on every job, backed by our Safety Adviser and by liability insurance specific to hazardous goods.

What we check on every shipment

ADR transport document stating the nature of the goods
Instructions in writing for emergency response
Driver's ADR training certificate, in date
Orange plates and hazard labels for the relevant class
Approved packaging, secured load and incompatible products separated
Vehicle safety and fire-fighting equipment inspected

Frequently asked questions

What hazardous goods can you carry out of Almería?

We work with packaged and palletised hazardous goods across the various classes of the ADR Agreement. Each class has its own packaging, labelling and documentation requirements, so the first thing we need is the product's safety data sheet: with the UN number and the packing group we can confirm on what terms we can run the job.

Can you carry ADR goods that also need refrigeration?

Yes. We have been refrigerated hauliers for more than thirty years and our drivers hold ADR licences, so goods that need both controlled temperature and ADR classification travel on the same vehicle, without splitting the shipment between two companies.

Do you carry hazardous goods internationally?

Yes. ADR is a European agreement applied in 49 countries, and we run out of Almería with the documentation and coordination that crossing borders with classified cargo requires.

Do you have a Safety Adviser?

Yes, our own. It is the role the regulations require of companies involved in the transport of hazardous goods, and at Doseguer it oversees the whole operation: load preparation, paperwork, staff training and incidents.
