Classified goods in daily working territory

Our base is in Cuevas del Almanzora, in the Levante Almeriense, half an hour from the Region. Murcia is daily working territory: we load and unload with the same response times as in our own province, hazardous goods included.

It is a Region with a lot of classified product in circulation: the chemical hub of the Valle de Escombreras, the industry of Alcantarilla and Molina de Segura, the agrochemicals of the Campo de Cartagena and the Guadalentín, plastics and canning. We move those goods packaged and palletised, with accredited drivers and complete documentation.

What we carry under ADR in the Region

Classified goods from Murcian industry and farming, always packaged and palletised:

Industrial chemicals Industry

Packaged goods from the industry around Escombreras, Alcantarilla and Molina de Segura, as full or part loads depending on volume.

Crop protection products and fertilisers Agriculture

Products for the Campo de Cartagena, the Guadalentín and the Vega del Segura, under the class and packing group stated in the safety data sheet.

Acids, bases and correctors Corrosives

Reagents for water treatment, the canning industry and irrigation heads, with incompatibilities kept apart in the load.

Solvents, paints and adhesives Flammables

Materials from the plastics, furniture and processing industries, in approved packaging and with reinforced securing.

Containerised hazardous goods Port

Classified goods arriving through or leaving from the Port of Cartagena, with the road leg and terminal formalities included.

A corridor we run every day

Almería and Murcia work as a single loading area, and with hazardous goods that matters more than with any other traffic: an ADR shipment cannot be improvised. Preparing the paperwork, marking the vehicle and checking how the load is secured takes time, and working the corridor daily means we have that time before loading instead of solving it on the move.

It also means we can fit the departure into the slot that suits your plant, rather than leaving classified goods waiting at the bay until a truck can be arranged.

What we check on every shipment

ADR transport document stating the nature of the goods
Instructions in writing for emergency response
Driver's ADR training certificate, in date
Orange plates and hazard labels for the relevant class
Approved packaging, secured load and incompatible products separated
Vehicle safety and fire-fighting equipment inspected

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a base in Murcia?

Our head office is in Cuevas del Almanzora, in the Levante Almeriense, a little over half an hour from the Region. In practice we work Murcia every day, with the same response times as in our own province.

What do you need in order to quote an ADR job?

The product's safety data sheet — that is where the UN number, the class and the packing group come from — plus the quantity, the type of packaging and the origin and destination. With that we can confirm on what terms we can run the job and quote a price.

Do you move hazardous goods from the Port of Cartagena?

Yes. We cover the road leg of containers carrying classified goods and handle the formalities for collection and delivery at the terminal, with ADR-accredited drivers.

Can you combine a load in Murcia with another in Almería?

Yes, and it is common: the two provinces form a single corridor. With hazardous goods, whether loads can be combined depends on the classes involved and their incompatibilities, so our Safety Adviser reviews it before we confirm.
