APQ zone in Almería, operating along the Mediterranean corridor
Best said up front: our APQ zone is in Cuevas del Almanzora, in Almería — 1,500 square metres licensed since 2017, able to take ADR goods — not inside the province of Valencia. What we offer a Valencian company is not square metres next to its plant, but licensed square metres that already exist and a route that passes through every week.
That approach suits one particular need well: packaged chemical products arriving or leaving through the Port of Valencia that need somewhere compliant to wait. An incoming container cannot always go straight to the customer's plant, and an export consignment is rarely completed in a single day. In between you need a warehouse that can accept the goods, and most cannot.
What we store for customers in Valencia

From the container to the APQ zone, with a single operator
The usual chain for a chemical import splits the work between three or four companies: one pulls the container out of the port, another unpacks it, another stores the product and another delivers it. Every handover is a change of responsibility over hazardous goods and another chance for something to sit still. Here the container platform, the APQ zone and the ADR lorries belong to the same company, so the whole journey is planned in one traffic office.
The Mediterranean corridor is also our long-standing route: we run north to Catalonia, northern Spain and Europe every week and come back down to the south-east. Valencia sits on that run, so a consignment fills a gap on a route we are making anyway rather than being charged as a dedicated trip. With low volumes and frequent departures, that difference is what makes the arrangement viable.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have an APQ warehouse in the province of Valencia?
No. Our APQ zone is in Cuevas del Almanzora, in Almería, and that is where the product is stored. What we do in Valencia is collect and deliver: the province sits on the Mediterranean corridor we run every week towards Catalonia, northern Spain and Europe.
Do you draw up APQ projects or offer regulatory consultancy?
No. We are a logistics operator, not an engineering consultancy: we do not draw up facility projects and we do not advise on licensing yours. What we offer is the opposite service, which for many companies solves the same problem: storage space that is already licensed, so there is no need to build a facility of your own.
Can you collect the container at the Port of Valencia?
Yes, with our own container platform trailers. We can take it straight to destination or bring it to our premises to be unpacked, leaving the product in the APQ zone until it is needed. What we do not handle is customs clearance: your customs agent takes care of that and we coordinate with them.
Do you store products in bulk or in tanks?
We work with packaged and palletised goods: drums, jerrycans, sacks and IBC containers on pallets. Bulk storage in tanks is a different facility under different regulations, and it is not what we offer.
How often can you serve the province?
Our Mediterranean corridor routes are weekly, so departures are normally scheduled at that rate, grouping whatever is bound for the area. If your product needs greater frequency, say so when we set the service up: depending on volume it can be adjusted, but we would rather commit to what we can actually deliver.
