On the route, not a detour
Our routes towards Catalonia, northern Spain and Europe cross the province every week: the natural way out for fresh produce from Almería and Murcia runs along the Mediterranean corridor. Valencia is therefore a regular loading and unloading area for our fleet, not a journey that has to be billed on top.
That counts especially with citrus and persimmon, where many shipments run to just a few pallets. Making use of a vehicle already on the road works out considerably better than a dedicated trip, and the produce does not have to sit in cold store waiting for a full load to come together.
What we load in the province
Fresh Valencian produce and refrigerated goods in transit through the port:
Citrus from the Ribera Alta and Baja, the Safor, the Costera and the Camp de Túria, with a long season and departures spread across autumn and winter.
A short season and delicate fruit, prone to bruising and to ripening too fast: it travels at a steady temperature with airflow through the load.
Onion, artichoke, cabbage and leaf from the Valencian market gardens to national distribution platforms.
Fruit and vegetables shipping in or out through Valencia and Sagunto, with the road leg and the terminal slot included.
A truck that already goes that way
The province being on our weekly run changes the cost of the job: instead of billing an empty leg to come and collect, we make use of a route that is already running. With citrus, where many shipments do not fill a whole truck, that difference is what decides the price.
The same run makes it possible to link a load out of Valencia with a delivery in the south-east, or the other way round, and to use return legs that would otherwise travel empty.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have your own warehouse in Valencia?
No. Our facilities, including the temperature-controlled chambers, are in Cuevas del Almanzora, Almería. In Valencia we operate in transit, loading and unloading, making use of the fact that the province sits on our regular routes north and into Europe.
Do you accept part loads of citrus?
Yes. We handle full, part and consolidated loads. For volumes of just a few pallets, making use of a truck already passing through the province usually works out considerably cheaper than a dedicated trip.
Do you work with refrigerated goods from the Port of Valencia?
Yes. We handle the road leg for refrigerated goods to or from the port, arrange the terminal slot and link the load to our national and international routes. We also work with the port of Sagunto.
Can you take Valencian produce to Europe?
Yes. We run regular routes to Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy and the United Kingdom, as full loads or consolidated.
